I recently graduated from Pacific Lutheran University receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Publishing and the Printing Arts. I am currently interning at two local magazines, Seattle magazine and Golf Today Northwest.
At Seattle magazine, I am currently the editorial assistant. My duties include writing creative articles and fact checking writers’ articles to ensure accurate content making it ready for publication. At Golf Today Northwest magazine my basic duties include copy editing articles, provide feedback about the content, and placing that content on the Golf Today website.
In addition to my current internships at these magazines, I also worked at Pacific Lutheran University’s student newspaper, The Mooring Mast, as the Copy Editor and the Arts and Entertainment Editor. My experience has taught me to complete multiple deadlines in a timely manner and still be able to complete my work to the best to my ability.
I am an extremely hard working and reliable individual who will tenaciously strive for perfection in all that I do and will encourage others to achieve this same goal.
